Our Story...
Or a summary of it... it is a LONG Story!
Very brief context... My wife and I have been married since 1998 - yes, to each other - and we have three adult children.
Our story began as we traveled during our time in the military...
And here we begin.

My Previous Career
I enjoyed a long career as paralegal and court reporter, deeply involved in the Military Justice and judicial process, including a supervisory teaching position at the respected and unique Judge Advocate's Legal Center and School, attached to the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville. Our family now resides near Charlottesville, a place I fell in love with in 2004, and I knew then we would
retire here.
A decision I have not regretted.
How Are We Here Now?
An acquaintance, a fellow photographer in the Army, taught me about DSLR cameras, and I totally fell in love with photography and documenting adventures, locations, military functions, and other activities. I learned more each week, each month, and each year. I strived to capture better images every time.
After retirement, I finally had the time to complete my education. Without hesitation, I enrolled and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Photography and another in Graphics Design with the Southern University of New Hampshire online.
Why Are We Here Now?
I fell in love with custom, individualized decorations. I also worked in windowless offices and cubicles, and having pictures and art would distract me a bit from the stresses of the job. I combined my experiences, my capabilities, and my desire for others to enjoy similar experiences -
and here we are.
Our goal is to provide inexpensive, customizable artwork to customers and friends; and/or preserve special moments and events for future generations!
No better job than one you love... and this is not even a job, but a passion.
We do not just love this.
It is who we are.

With many photographers and studios, you will find the Standard / Premium / Exclusive tier system for event photography. Our Family and Team members do NOT believe in this tier system. We would and could never call your special event "standard." The price will not dictate how we treat you - nor should it! It does not matter what it is - a high school graduation, baptism, wedding, farewell, or a burial. We will treat every and any event as an exclusive occasion, because it is your premium event. It is our honor to cover it and provide you art that reflects its importance to you and your loved ones to the best of our capabilities! Our "packages" are all customizable to your specific needs.
We will also provide a quick turnaround, since most of our printing*, and all of our editing and post-processing is done in-house, passing the savings to you! If we cannot print something, we have local business contacts** that can help fulfill nearly any customization and would love to help fulfill your vision!
